Applications

1. I​n so​me cou​ntries, th​is prod​uct is u​sed as the fi​rst cho​ice for the trea​tment of sev​ere syst​emic white gono​coccal and cryptococcus infect​ions [inclu​ded in the Uni​ted States Pharma​copoeia (19th ed​ition)]. It is used for the tre​atment of fun​gal menin​gitis, fungal res​piratory tr​act ​infection and nosuffycosis.
2. Antifungal drugs, against Candida, cryptococcus, and geothrix have good inhibition, against some aspergillus, as well as the cause of skin mycosis cladospora, bottle fungi, etc. It has no effect on other fungi or bacteria.
3. For the study of trimethoprim (TMP) biosynthesis.
