Iron Trifluoride

Chemical Formula: FeF₃
Physicochemical Properties: FeF₃ is a white (slightly green) solid with a crystal density of 3.87 g/cm³; non-volatile,insoluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, and difficult to dissolve in water ( solubility at 25°C is 0.091 g) , easily soluble in HF solution. FeF₃ belongs R-3c space group of trigonal system.

FeF₃ product is of high purity and no impurity phase

FeF₃ and SP mixture was tested for electrochemical performance; under 0.1C , the 1st cycle discharge capacity is approx. 610 mAh/g，the 10th discharge capacity still keeps upto 180 mAh/g.
