Perfluorooctane sulfonic acid has the advantages of low surface tension, low critical micellar concentration, good thermal stability and chemical characterization, as well as waterproof, oil repellent and special surface activity. It is widely used in many fields such as textiles, electroplating, fire protection, aviation, agricultural medicine, carpet, leather, paper and so on. For this reason, perfluorooctane sulfonic acid is vividly called "industrial monosodium glutamate". For automotive products, perfluorooctane sulfonic acid is mainly used in seats, steering wheels, seat belts and other parts.
